Where fun meets creativity

It is time to be crafty again! This year I am motivated to make a new wreath for each season. I made one for Christmas, which turned out really nice. I missed Valentine’s Day though!!!

As much as I hate to admit, I always struggle with consistency when it comes to my blog. In an absolutely perfect world, I would love to publish two posts per week. But to be realistic, one post per week is my goal. Even then I fall short. As an individual I am very responsible and dedicated when it comes to my family and my work. But when it comes to my blog I totally fall short. Perhaps it’s because my blog is the one place where I have no one to answer to.

Once a fellow blogger told me, “You will never take your blog seriously, unless you see it as your BUSINESS!” It is very true! I have to learn to see that. I have to learn to manage and put time aside for my blog to make it happen.

I apologize to all my readers for making you wait weeks before I post something new. I have to break through my inconsistency! And focus on one post per week!

How do you stay consistent? I would love to hear any tips that helped you stay consistent.

Okay back to being crafty!

I love driving by homes and seeing a totally unique wreath hanging on their doors. It always inspires me.  As you all know me by now, I work free-handed. My main intention is to hopefully inspire you to make, or come up with, your own creations, play with the idea, and make something fun without being afraid of making mistakes. Sometimes a mistake can create a really amazing piece of art by accident.

This year my daughter asked me to make something more “funner” for Easter.  She is nine and always thinks outside the box. When she was little and could barely talk she referred to herself as “Money”. Ever since her nickname at home is “Money”.  She always makes us laugh and comes up with her own words.  You tell her, “Money, that is not a word!” and she tells you, “Now it is!”

To make my wreath more “funner” according to my little girl, I am drawing my inspiration from a typical Easter cartoon drawing. Since I have no boundaries when it comes to crafting, let’s see where this project takes me!

Have fun crafting and please tag me on Instagram with your creations

Ps. I wanted to add a small plastic fence to my wreath to create more realistic 3D look, but sadly it did not work out and I could not fully get what I had imagined 🙁   Other then that it turned out really cute.
